My little girls teeth are very spaced, can she have braces at the age of 5?

Hello Dr Patel. My little girl of 5 has extremely spaced teeth. All of them are very gappy. I’ve always taken care of her teeth, with regular check-ups etc. I spoke to our family dentist who said she was too young for braces as her milk teeth are still there…which i understand. However, don’t braces change the bite and the alignment? not just ‘straighten’ the actual teeth? I’m worried for her. I don’t want her to get bullied. What should I do? We’re with an NHS dentist but I will happily move private if there’s something to be done. I had problems with my teeth as a young girl and was picked on, I just don’t want the same for her. Is the invisalign best for me?

i have quite a lot of gaps between my teeth, like all of my teeth are spaced out a bit too much. I really like the idea of invisalign because it seems so discreet and unnoticeable but just wondered if it would be effective enough for all of my gaps. There is almost a gap between every tooth! Also what is the general price for a course of invisalign just so I can work out a budget. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated and thanks for your time
