Thang D Nghiem

Dr Thang D Nghiem is the co-founder and principal dentist at UltraSmile* and is widely regarded as one of the UK’s leading dentists. He is also a certified Platinum Elite Invisalign provider.

He is a member the British and American Academies of Cosmetic Dentistry and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He recently became a Fellow of the Misch International Implant Institute in America and is also a member of the Tatum Institute for Implantology.

The importance of a healthy, attractive smile is not lost on Dr Nghiem and he has helped to create thousands of beautiful smiles. He has an extremely high level of training and education and has worked under some of the world’s leading cosmetic dentists in the USA, South America and Europe. He is also one of few British dentists to achieve the highest Master’s level qualification in Cosmetic Dentistry from the distinguished Aesthetic Advantage Group in New York under the guidance of Dr Larry Rosenthal. 

Dr Nghiem is one of a small number of British dentists to successfully complete the Functional Occlusion Programme at Florida’s Dawson Centre of Advancement of Dentistry and he uses his exceptional knowledge base to provide patients with optimum levels of patient care and artistry.

Khoi D Nghiem

Khoi D Nghiem is the co-creator of UltraSmile* and has been advising multi-national corporation for over a decade, including the likes of Exxon Mobile, Shell and Phillips Petroleum.

His passion, determination and eye for detail lead to the creation of UltraSmile* and he continues to enjoy the challenges of running one of the UK’s most successful dental practices. Inside a year of opening, UltraSmile* achieved the UK’s Most Attractive Practice and since then it has scooped numerous other awards, including the UK’s Best Private Practice.

Khoi is actively involved in all aspects of the practice and imparts his knowledge and uses his experience to create an amazing experience for his clients. Khoi was a finalist in the Best Team Member at the Dentistry Awards and also made the final of the HSBC National Start Up Star Awards.

Khoi is committed to first-class customer service and works alongside the other members of the UltraSmile* team to provide optimum standards of service and care.

As well as running UltraSmile*, Khoi also helps management teams and dentists to convert other dental practices into centres of excellence and writes articles for leading publications.

Matthew Chia

Dr Matthew Chia qualified from Guy’s Dental Hospital in 1998. He then graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry with a distinction and won numerous academic prizes during his studies. After graduating, Dr Chia completed training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry and Restorative Dentistry. In 2001, he was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in England.

He completed a three-year training programme in specialist Orthodontics at the Royal London Hospital and was awarded a Master’s degree in Orthodontics at the University of London. He then went on to gain Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in England in 2005, during which time he also attained the prestigious Geoffrey Fletcher prize, given by the British Orthodontic Society.

Two years of specialist training at the Eastman Dental Institute followed and he gained a Fellowship in Dental Surgery (Orthodontics) of the Royal College of Surgeons in England. Dr Chia is a member of the General Dental Council specialist register and also the British and European Orthodontic Societies.

Dr Chia is a consultant orthodontist and is currently located at hospitals in Surrey and London. He attends and presents at conferences on a regular basis and has written numerous scientific papers. He is well-respected by colleagues at UltraSmile* and popular with his patients. He has a wealth of experience and enjoys using his skills to create beautiful smiles for both children and adults.

David Bevan

Dr David Bevan is one of the UK’s leading cosmetic dentists and was trained by some of the world’s finest dentists. David is one of few British dentists to have received training from Dr Larry Rosenthal, dentist to the stars, at the Aesthetic Advantage Group in New York. In addition to this he is a member of both the British and American Academies of Cosmetic Dentistry.

David is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology, The British Society of Restorative Dentists and the prominent Tatum Institute of Dental Implantology.

He is also one of a small number of British dentists to complete the gold standard programme in occlusal splint therapy and dental study at the Dawson Centre of Advancement in Dentistry in Florida. David is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Advanced General Dental Practice at Kings College, London.

David has an excellent reputation for clinical excellence and he is well-loved by patients at UltraSmile* thanks to his relaxed and friendly nature. He has created thousands of beautiful smiles and he is always looking to expand his knowledge base and move with the times when it comes to advances in the field of dentistry.

In his spare time, David enjoys going to the theatre, cooking and reading.

Adil Khalil

Dr Adil Khalil qualified from Baqai Medical University in Pakistan in 2004. He graduated top of his class and moved to the UK after spending one year training as a dental house officer.

He started a 2-year Master’s programme in Periodontology at Barts and the London and Kings College after he graduated, and went on to complete a further year of training in Implantology. He also completed a third year of training in Periodontology.

Over the course of the training period, Dr Khalil compiled a fascinating portfolio, including some extremely complex cases and his experiences have helped him to develop into a caring and discerning professional.

Dr Khalil also spent time as a clinical supervisor for undergraduate students at Barts and the London and Kings College London. He is at present working at UltraSmile* as a private dentist. He has a keen interest in Periodontology and uses his experience in cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics to create stunning smiles.

He is a friendly and popular member of the dental team and he has helped hundreds of patients to achieve the smile of their dreams by providing treatments such as Invisalign and the Inman aligner.
